Medium is known as a blogging platform that provides high-quality content on a variety of topics such as technology, business, life, social issues, entertainment, etc. That allows people to refer to ideas and in-depth knowledge in various fields. Medium hosts a wealth of great and thoughtful articles, which has helped it build a strong reputation in the blogging world. Accordingly, the articles are also ranked higher on search engines leading to higher discoverability. Thanks to Medium’s platform, authors can monetize their reach and influence. This is evident through interactions like claps and paid reads, supported by the Medium Partner Program. With that in mind, the Medium Automation tool is just launched to help the authors to maximize their reach on Medium. Here is how to use the software in detail:

HOW TO USE MEDIUM AUTOMATION TOOL
General Settings
A1. License Key
Notable: You should press COPY as shown above to make sure that there is no any space before and behind the license key.
A2. Run
This represents the total number of successful runs. For example, if you set Run = 1000, the software will automatically stop after 1000 successful runs. Otherwise, you can leave it as default:
A3. Threads
Represent the number of browsers, accounts or tabs that run at the same time. The higher your computer configuration is, the more browsers you are able to run. For instance: for 1 PC with RAM 8GB and Core i7, you can run 30-40 threads in maximum at the same time.
A4. Get Useragents
This is to emulate different virtual devices when running. Here you will have 3 options:
A4.1. From File
If you choose From File, you need to download the virtual browser file (Desktop Chrome Youtube) provided in the Download link when purchasing the software HERE.
Click on the icon in the Useragents (Desktop) to link to the downloaded file:
A4.2. Online Public Key
In case you choose Online Public Key, the software will use free online virtual browsers. However, you can only run up to 3 threads, but the success rate is higher than choosing From File.
A4.2. Online Private Key
A.5. Folder Cookies
Create a new folder named cookies and put the path on the bot as follows:
This folder is used to save the login status of your Medium accounts so that you are not required to re-login for the second time. You should then save this folder to the drive with the most free space.
A.6. IP Option
A.6.1. From Data
If you want to use a separate proxy for each Medium account, then select IP From Data => you need to enter the proxy along with the Medium account into the Database Manager dialog box. See more instructions at section A.8. Accounts below:
A.6.2. From File
In case you want to use proxy file, then you choose IP From File. Next, you create a text file to save list of proxies in which: each line is each proxy with the format as IP:PORT or IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD.
At File proxy field, Click on the icon => navigate to the created proxy file:
A.6.3. No
If there is no proxy, you can choose No Proxy, the software will use the IP of the network line connected to your computer to run. Note: this option is used to test the tool only with 1-2 threads, otherwise, your accounts might be disabled.
A.7. Sleep (Miliseconds)
This is the rest time between two turns of threads in milliseconds. For example, if you set it to 6000-9000, the rest time between two turns will randomly be from 6-9 seconds.
A.8. Accounts
You need to click on Accounts and Actions Section to see all the related settings:
Next, you need to import Medium accounts into the Database Manager dialog box:
1. Click on the Data item in the lower left corner of the software:
2. Then the Database Manager dialog box will appear:
You can import accounts manually or do it automatically using a txt file.
Notes:
- If you registered a Medium account with Gmail, Gmail should have 2FA enabled, then create an app password (application password) and use that app password on the software instead of the main password of Gmail.
- In case you created Medium account with Hotmail/Outlook, Hotmail/Outlook must have a Refresh Token and use Hotmail/Outlook+Refresh Token on the software instead of the main password of Hotmail/Outlook. Next, you need to create a Client ID account here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/healthcare-apis/register-application, then paste the Client ID into the Imap Server section.
- You can search for Imap Server and Imap Port on Google with the keyword Imap Server+Email. For example: Imap Server Gmail, Imap Server Yahoo, etc.
Information to enter the account into the software includes: Email, Email password, IMAP Server, IMAP Port as follows:
If your Medium account is created with Hotmail/Outlook, then you enter the details as shown below:
If your Medium account is created with Gmail, then you enter the app password instead of the main password as shown below:

Then in the Accounts section, select the account group to run.
A.9. Pop3 or Imap
If you use IMAP to read Email, select IMAP at Pop3 or Imap? field. Otherwise, you choose Pop3 if you use Pop3.
Upon having checked the basic settings as above, you can use the main functions of the software as follows:
2. INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO USE EACH FUNCTION – MEDIUM AUTOMATION TOOL
2.1. Read Article (Interact with Medium articles: read article, clap and follow the article poster)
2.1.1. Choose Action
If you want the tool to interact with the article, then you choose Read Article at Action field. Accordingly, the tool will automatically read article, clap or follow users.
Next, you choose Yes at Read Article?, Will Clap? and Will Follow?; otherwise, you choose No.
2.1.2. Links
If you choose Yes at Read Articles? and Will Claps?, then you add the links of article that you want to interact with into a txt file (each link on per line):

Click on the article you want to interact with, then copy the link and paste it into the text file:
Click on the icon in the Links field==> navigate to the file to save the list of articles:
2.1.3. Reading time (seconds)
Next, you need to set the reading time in the Reading Time section (unit: seconds). For example, if you set it from 40 to 60, the software will randomly read each article between 40 and 60 seconds.
2.1.4. Will Clap
As mentioned above, If you want to clap the post, click Yes in the Will Clap section.
Next, you set up Links field as instructed in the section 2.1.2 Links so that the tool can clap on the articles that you want
2.3. Will Follow
If you want to follow the author of the article you are interacting with, select Read Article at Action field and Yes in the Will Follow section as shown below. Accordingly, the software will randomly use your Medium accounts to follow the article poster:
Next, you set up Links field as instructed in the section 2.1.2 Links so that the tool can follow the article poster based on your links
After installation is complete, press OK to run the Read Article function.
2.4. Mass Follow
2.4.1. Choose Action
Choose Mass Follow at Action field:
2.4.2. Links
Create a text file to save the list of Medium users to increase followers (each line is a user profile). The MediumAutomation does not limit the number of Medium users to increase followers:
How to get profile link: Select the Medium user that you want to increase followers ==> copy the user’s link and paste it into the created text file:
Then, click on the icon in the Links section ==> navigate to the file to save the created user list:
After all the settings are complete, you can click OK to run the Mass follow function in the MediumAutomation tool.
